Looking to buy a terrapin

Im looking to buy a terrapin and i have a 65 litre tank at the mo i was asking if this tank is the right size for a terrapin and also what is the smallest species of terrapin thanks ~trttle

Hi, 65 litres is small for any species other than as a starter tank, the absolute minimum you would need for an adult of even the smallest available species (the common musk are around 4-5" max) is 150 litres so at least twice the size of the tank you have / are looking at. Too small of a tank is cruel due to lack of swimming space, but the water quality will also suffer as it's almost impossible to keep a small tank clean without doing daily water changes.
