Common musks

Post by Tim » Wed Oct 24, 2012 9:41 am

Hi all, I've been asked to find a home for two year old common musk turtles, I can't take them in but said I would help to find them a good home,

If anyone wants them reply to this or PM me & we can sort something out!

Hi,

I'm new on the board and would consider rehoming if suitable for first time owner. :) I currently have a 2' tank 'spare' but not set up so would need to get bits in, so if there is urgency then I may not be the right person as yet.

I'm in SW Wales too so location is not ideal.

Thanks,

A 2' tank would be unsuitable for even a single year-old common musk, even though they're a small species, unless it was a non-standard 2' tank that was also deep and wide. The standard 2' tank is around 60 litres to the brim, so barely suitable for much bigger than hatchlings.

Sorry I haven't updated this thread, it's been an extremely hectic few days, I think I've found someone to take them, he's going to pick them up on Sunday,
