Any advise given will be great the filter is a 501 which it says is for up to a 60 gallon so I thought would be fine for a 30 the map and yellow bellied are both 1 month old.

I will get more pictures up of the turtles tomorrow and also some pictures of my two musk turtle 20 gallon set ups which are both home two 1 musk around a years age 1 being male and the other female.

Looks fantastic, although the 501 filter doesn't seem too good considering it only has two filter materials (it's also only for up to 30 gallons apparently).

I'd recommend looking at the Eheim Professional 3 series, or even the Eheim Ecco Pro if your budget can't stretch too far; absolutely amazing value for money.

Very nice looking! I'm sure your little guy is too teeny right now for this to be a problem, but just keep in mind as he gets bigger that turtles might eat any small gravel substrate you have in there and cause serious problems. I would also recommend Eheim for the filters. ~thmbu

Approximately 135 if it's UK gallons, or 114 if it's US gallons, as they're smaller.
