No, I didn't pay anywhere near £300. I told them how much an adult map was worth and we agreed a sale.

Her condition I feel, is a credit to her previous keeper. The person advertising her for sale had only had her three weeks. His brother, had bought her on a 'stupid whim' (he was just as annoyed as we all were I think)

He was a decent chap and I think had been left to care for the turtle as best he could and was trying to fix his brother's mistake.

He actually kept birds of prey and his animals were in fabulous condition.
