Fingers crossed for a Christmas surprise!

Post by Tim » Sun Dec 23, 2012 12:14 pm

I woke up this morning to find one of my DBTs like this..

Image

I moved them out of the tank last week into the waterland tub as I felt they had outgrown the tank now, the last eggs were laid at easter but weren't fertile & laid in the water, hopefully this time if she's laying.......

I suspect it will be on Christmas morn.
Look out for the three wise men and a star.
Keep away from the camels cause they spit.

It would be funny if they did lay again now, the last eggs were laid on Easter!

Hi Tim.
Mine do that at least once a week, dig holes etc,I'm thinking there about to lay,but nothing ,one of the big girls will stay in the sand for 2or 3 days with just her nose out, they just seem to like it,I smooth over the sand every evening, and they must have parties every night, foot prints holes all over the place, maybe they hunt ,theres lots of crickets about.
Or they just love the feel of warm sand between their toes who knows !
