YBS and RES

Post by Maria » Thu Sep 27, 2012 1:07 am

Recently I've had two more turtles come to me who were dumped in a local koi pond. I'm trying to find homes for these guys asap (it's too bad none of yous live closer!!), it's a shame because they are quite nice looking, especially the YBS! Keep your fingers crossed for me that I can find them good homes soon, I really don't have the room for them ~cry-wtry

Julie, you have no idea how much it breaks my heart to give them away but I have no choice!! ~cry-wtry If I weren't still away at school I'd take them on in a heartbeat, the fact is they are at my parent's house right now and I can't expect them to care for them in my place, nor do they want to/have the room. I've already filled all the space I possibly can in my apartment with my turtles, otherwise I'd definitely bring them here. *sigh*

I know the feeling Maria, I wish I could re-home all of the turtles that need homes ever but it's a matter of quality over quantity. As I say time and again, if I could win millions in the lottery and have all the time in the world ............ ~cfn-wcky

No kidding, I feel the same!!
We found yet another one this past weekend in the same pond, not sure if we just missed it the first time or the person keeps going back to dump them, another RES, so I'm now up to 4 turtles to rehome, asap ~xeyed

The forum will only allow you to upload reasonable sized pics (file size), so you'll either need to resize them (even MS Paint will allow you to do this), or upload them to something like Photobucket.com ~thmbu
