Thats a good looking turtle! How many different species are you caring for at the moment?

Thanks Jo, he is one of the oldest Turtles in my collection and is indeed, a real charmer. However, even after nearly Twenty seven years he remains very timid and getting a natural pose picture is surprisingly difficult. He has however, been something of a TV celebrity, and featured in the BBC documentary series "Life of Mammals". He was the Turtle that appeared to be hunted by the South American Bush Dogs in a scene we filmed down at Port Lympne Zoo in Kent.
