boys or girls?

Hi,
i am hoping the time has come to be able to tell the sex of my turts. they are 4.5 years old now.
first up is fatty. pis below of his tail and front claws.

Looks like Fatty is a girl, but Mo is confusing... The claws look too long to be a girl, but the tail looks very short in the photo! ~cnf-dunno

Mo is most likely a girl too, just with slightly-longer-than-normal front claws, I would work on that premise unless they prove otherwise ;) Obviously as girls they'll get big, expect 12-14" shell length as a minimum

interesting!
does that explain why they argue after dinner time?
I've had to separate them the nights that they get fed cause mo gets back in the tank and starts voting fattys head. Unusual as she's normally the more timid of the 2.
Recently i got a small tank and she gets put in that overnight after feeding and by the morning she's ok
girls!
