I'm sure my turtles kissed tonight

Post by Neilos » Tue Sep 20, 2016 12:30 am

After consuming some dried sea food followed by some blood worms and my turtles settled at the bottom. What happened next amazed me, they began to move their little heads towards each other and appeared to be kissing. I watched for a short time and then decided to give them some space.
Have any other terrapinites experienced this wonderful sight?

Not kissing, however could still be courtship behaviour, do you know their sex or do you have pics? There is also the possibility that it is territorial depending on sex, space, and temps.

I was thinking the same looking at mine. Meanwhile, they were territorial and didn't like each other much, I think anyway.
